Chile. The 2022 edition of Expo Frío Calor Chile will be held from June 29 to July 2 at Espacio Riesco in Santiago de Chile. The event will have a space of more than 2,000 m2 of stands, more than 5,500 m2 of exhibition and the presence of companies from Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Brazil, the United States, Germany, Italy, China, Japan, Spain, Turkey, among others.
The organization, led by the Chilean Chamber of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (CChRyC) and Arma Productora, ensures that the fair will have the participation of more than 100 exhibitors and 300 brands nationally and internationally, and that in parallel it will have a program of talks according to 4 pillars:
Energy Matrix
According to the report "Energy 2050: Chile's Energy Policy" of the Ministry of Energy, the challenges at the country level must be developed on 4 bases: Security and Quality of Supply, Energy as a Driver of Development, Compatibility with the Environment, and Energy Efficiency and Education. Therefore, in terms of air conditioning and refrigeration – mostly electric – the challenge is to focus technological development, innovation and the market on one focused on the personal and collective well-being of our society. At Expo Frío Calor Chile 2022, there will be a day of keynote talks to address this topic, by the hand of professionals who will present on the current panorama and the challenges that summon us.
Chilean Congress of Ventilation
We know that indoor air quality in enclosed spaces, both for public and private places, is crucial to combat the presence of viruses, through adequate ventilation and air filtration. This topic will be discussed at the 1st Chilean Congress of Ventilation, both residential, commercial and industrial, whose focus will be energy efficiency, indoor air quality, use of renewable energies and environmental care.
Women and their sustainable approach to the refrigeration industry
Expo Frío Calor Chile will have a block led by women in the industry to analyze sustainability in terms of refrigeration, since according to the UN, sustainable cooling systems could reduce years of greenhouse gas emissions and save billions of dollars to industries only by combating climate change through the injection of technology into their products.
Refrigeration for all industries
Finally, there will be a space to talk about the challenges in terms of refrigeration, an important mechanism not only to safeguard medicines, but to maintain the quality of a wide range of products that are consumed daily.
