International. Bosch Home Comfort reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability and innovation in the energy distribution sector, through its participation in the meeting organized on the occasion of the XXV anniversary of AMASCAL.
The company took advantage of the space to share its vision on the transformative role that distribution can play in the energy transition, promoting efficient, adapted and environmentally friendly solutions.
Victoria García, Product Manager of Bosch Spain, took part in the panel dedicated to the future of distribution, where she stressed the importance of looking beyond electrification as the only way to decarbonisation. "The most attractive business for the distribution sector lies in decarbonisation solutions not just thinking about electrification, but in all the options that offer efficiency, also in implementation costs and capable of adapting to each type of installation," he said.
During his speech, García also addressed the urgent need to modernise the existing housing stock in Spain. He pointed out that about 70% of homes are located in high-rise buildings with old, inefficient boilers that are difficult to electrify. "Changing atmospheric boilers for condensing boilers could reduce CO₂ emissions by 30%, and renewable gases, such as biomethane, play a fundamental role here," he explained.
Bosch Home Comfort's participation in such meetings reflects its active role as an agent of change within the industry. The company is committed to an energy model that balances efficiency, economic viability and sustainability, with solutions such as aerothermal energy, hybridisation with condensing boilers, and the use of biogases, adapted to the real conditions of the existing facilities.
With this intervention, Bosch Home Comfort not only shares its technical expertise, but also promotes a collaborative and realistic approach to decarbonization, supporting distributors, installers and end users in the transition to a more responsible and efficient model.
