Colombia. The Colombian Association of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration – ACAIRE, celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2021 and has just inaugurated its new website.
The Association, which was born in 1981, has as its current President Eng. Giovanni Barletta, Emerson Process Management De Colombia S.A.S, and Vice President Roberto D'Ortra, Climatiza EU.
"With the support and participation of ACAIRE members in the projects, we have positioned ourselves as leaders in sustainable cooling nationally and internationally. We have worked identifying and realizing benefits to grow together and strengthen companies and the sector," said the President, Giovanni Barletta.
At present it also has the Regional Chapters divided as follows:
- West – President: Ernesto Porras
- North – President:, Giovanni Barletta
- Antioquia – President: César Alejandro Isaza
- Oriente – President: Luis Rolando Torrado
As well as with the special chapters:
- Indoor Air Quality – President: Roberto D'Ortra
- Cold Chain Chapter - President: Diego Arias
- ASHRAE Chapter – President: Juan Gustavo Mahecha.
Over the years, ACAIRE, which brings together more than 270 members, has been recognized for its important training spaces and support for the entire air conditioning and refrigeration guild in Colombia. It is currently offering different technical courses for all its affiliates and professionals in general, as well as preparing a new version of Expo ACAIRE 2021, which will be held virtually on dates to be confirmed.
