Colombia. The company Mecalor presented during the last Andina Pack fair a line of equipment for the thermal control of the transformation processes of the plastic and rubber industry.
"Colombia is a potentially strategic market for Mecalor's exports," says Flávio Ricardo Pereira, the company's export manager. In his opinion, with the increase in population growth, the Andean country has a competent industrial market, driven by the increase in consumption. "There is already a great diversity of industry installed and even established in Colombia," he says.
"At the fair we will present our chillers. The idea was to show the Colombian market that Mecalor has one of the best energy efficiency projects in the world," explains Flavio Pereira.
In Colombia, the company currently operates with a structure set up by means of a commercial representative, which also has the function of providing services, such as technical assistance, after-sales and maintenance. "Also, the local representative has spare parts in stock and already resales equipment," he clarifies.
