Colombia. "Be part of the change" is the theme of the eighth version of Construverde Colombia 2017 International Forum & Expo on Sustainable Design and Construction, which is organized by the Colombian Council for Sustainable Construction (CCCS) and will be held on August 9 and 10 in Bogotá.
In this edition the event is focused on the following thematic axes: 1) leaders for a sustainable Colombia; 2) from ideas to action: sustainable cities, communities and projects; 3) innovation in energy management and construction. Global trending topics will include
real examples of net zero carbon real estate projects, in line with the World campaign
Green Building Council launched on May 31, 2017 so that 100% of buildings have this feature by 2050 and thus contribute significantly to the objectives of containment of climate change and for a better quality of life.
Construverde will have +700 participants in 2017 and will take place in Bogotá, on Wednesday, August 9 and Thursday, August 10, 2017 at El Cubo de Colsubsidio, a building certified in sustainable construction with LEED®, Gold level.
