Mexico. Last Tuesday, July 3, the Mexico City Chapter of Ashrae held the ceremony of change of board of directors corresponding to the period 2012-2013, an event that was held in parallel to the Technical Session corresponding to this month in which the theme "Sustainability and HVAC" was developed.
The new board of directors was formed as follows:
- President 2012-2013: Eng. Magdalena Castillo.
- Vice President: Mr. Luis Vázquez Gómez.
- Secretary: Eng. Brenda Zamora Herrera.
- Treasurer: Mr. Antonio González Pérez.
- Governors: Eng. Carlos Estrada, Eng. Ramón Dávila Montes and Arq. José Antonio Olivares.
"One of the most important axes that we are developing is to achieve the integration of HVAC/R engineers from all over the Mexican Republic, promoting standards through special sessions in the main cities of the interior that do not yet have their Chapter," said Magdalena Castillo in her first newsletter as president of Ashrae Mexico.
