Dwyer
Dwyer's AVUL air velocity transmitter is a duct-mount Hot-Wire anemometer, designed to measure air velocity or volumetric airflow in VAV systems or construction ducts, using a two-sensor system and measuring temperature loss, avoiding blockages that occur with a pitot tube.
The equipment has precision ranges between 3 and 5 percent to adjust to different needs and has the BACnet or MODBUS communication protocol to link several units at the same time, allowing access to total speed and volumetric flow data, as well as information such as air temperature.
All AVUL models can be wired for output from 4 to 10 mA, 0 to 5/10V DC or simultaneous current and voltage output, providing universal connection to PLC and monitoring equipment.
Additionally, the integrated LCD screen allows to monitor the values locally and configure the equipment, while the integrated DIP switches allow the user to select the total speed range, type of output, among other options, saving time in installation and configuration.
