Victaulic
Victaulic introduces the industry's first slotted pipe system, designed exclusively for chlorinated polyvinyl chloride or polyvinyl chloride (CPVC/PVC) pipes, including a complete line of couplings, fittings and pipe preparation tools.
Due to the migration of drinking water systems from high-cost galvanized metal pipes to more economical CPVC pipes, traditionalists began to use solvent cement to join the pipes, which requires several layers, as well as specialized immobilizing equipment, making installations longer and more complex.
To make the job easier, the complete line of couplings includes the Style 357 rigid coupling, the Style 356 transition coupling, the Style 358 reduction coupling, Schedule 80 tube fittings and the CG1100 slot cutting tool.
These ready-to-install couplings have no loose parts that can fall and get lost, and can be easily installed with common tools and for remodeling or maintenance, they can be easily removed and reinstalled, without cutting the tube.
