Greenheck
The Greenheck Fire Ready Hood, model GRRS, is a hood that works with a standard ventilation range with additional capacity to suppress fires from the stove, facing the challenge of protecting accessories in both the residential and commercial contexts.
Designed for use in a standard residential range of 30 or 36 inches, the Fire Ready Hood incorporates an automatic and autonomous UL300A fire suppression system for residential premises.
The camp exhaust fan can be operated manually with the dial mounted in front or automatically based on the temperature of the hood which is operated by an on-board controller.
If the temperature of the hood is higher than normal operation, the controller will disable it through its disconnection device. An audible alarm and dry contact will be compromised to alert occupants.
In case the temperature continues to rise, the Amerex 660 agent will be launched through addressed nozzles and a nozzle into the exhaust duct.
Ideal for applications where residential-style appliances are used for non-commercial kitchens, such as bedrooms, office dining rooms, churches, fire stations and military housing.
