International. The company has begun to incorporate Magnelis-coated sheet steel into the production of its fans and ventilation systems.
This decision marks a breakthrough in the resilience of these teams in the face of highly aggressive environments.
Developed by ArcelorMittal, Magnelis® steel combines zinc, aluminium and magnesium in an alloy that offers up to three times the corrosion protection of conventional galvanising. This material has been certified under the ISO 12944 standard with the C5 category, the highest classification of corrosion resistance, which makes it an ideal solution for applications in extreme environments, such as maritime installations or chemical industries.
The use of Magnelis® allows to offer more robust units, with a longer service life and fewer maintenance requirements, even in severe conditions. In addition to its strength, this steel stands out for its behaviour in critical areas such as edges, welds or perforations, where its "self-healing" effect protects against the appearance of rust. Its lighter and more efficient coating also reduces the weight of the final product and eliminates the need to apply paint, which is both an economic and environmental advantage.
The material complies with the European REACH regulation, contains no harmful substances and is 100% recyclable, reinforcing SISTEVEN's commitment to sustainability and responsible innovation.
