Spectronics has introduced the Spectroline OPTI-LUX ™ 400, a powerful and rechargeable violet light LED flashlight for leak detection. It emits less visible light than standard blue light inspection lamps, making refrigerant leaks easier to detect. This saves valuable diagnostic time and money.
The violet LED light makes fluorescence dyes brighter and with higher contrast. It has a power comparable to high-intensity lamps and works with 150 watts of all popular universal dyes/POE.
The OPTI-LUX 400 is very compact and lightweight, allowing it to enter narrow, tight areas that larger lamps cannot; its control range is up to 25 feet (7.6 m) or more and is coupled to a compact anodized aluminum body.
