Armstrong introduces a new version of its popular Astro 2 Hot Water Recirculation (HWR) pumps. The hot water recirculation system can save about 12,000 gallons of water per year in a typical family, eliminating the water waste that occurs when occupants turn on the faucet and have to wait for water to pass through the luminaire to come out hot.
The Astro 2 HWR is suitable for use in a 3-tube installation with a special return. The Astro Express 2 system includes the innovative Astro Express LF valve and has a standard design for 2-tube installations.
Other features of the new version is that it is larger and has an easy-to-service electrical protection box. Also includes Timer Accessory Kit that can be used to update the circulators of the version
Astro 2 HWR circulators are available in stainless steel and bronze versions, either with NPSM junction or weldable type connections.
