Emerson has launched the second generation of its ZPV2 variable speed compressors, Copeland Scroll technology 
and EV2 motor control unit for residential and commercial applications.
The compresot brings intermediate discharge valves to increase efficiency, displacement elements optimized for variable speed performance, positive oil pump displacement for reliability in low-speed operation, and brushless permanent magnet motor (BPM) technology for maximum efficiency.
The new CoreSense technology is integrated into the variable speed EV2 motor control unit for optimal compressor operation.
It also has as characteristics a soft start, controlled shutdown, displacement on temperature protection and protection from high pressure.
