Greenheck's line of shock absorbers has added new products to its family, namely the HBS-430 and HBS-431 models of blast dampers designed to protect air and ventilation systems against explosions and instantaneous pressure changes.
These highly resistant, double flange shock absorbers have the frame shape channel with double thickness, manufactured with aerodynamic blades are qualified for pressures as high as 15 psi, covering many applications in UFC (Unified Facilities Criteria) and GSA (General Services Administration) codes and standards including weight load at 28 feet.
The HBS-430 and HBS-431 explosion dampers are ideal for government buildings and oil or gas platforms, and refineries where the protection of ventilation systems is crucial.
