Colombia. The National Council for Economic and Social Policy, Conpes, approved a policy to attract foreign capital in the construction of housing megaprojects that exceed 200 million dollars.
The idea is to invite international pensioners and also Colombians living abroad to invest in this "second home" project, as many countries do successfully such as Panama and Costa Rica.
"The benefits for buyers range from tax exemption when bringing their vehicles, a non-commercial boat such as a yacht or an airplane, will also be exempt from paying rent," explained Andrés Escobar, deputy director of National Planning of that country. (Source: Snail)
