Latin America. Taco Comfort Solutions ' SelfSensing and ProBalance technologies enable a balancing system that simplifies installation, reduces costs, and eliminates the need for sensors and complex wiring.
It is an intelligent integration that automatically responds to the demand of the system, thanks to its versatile modes (constant flow, constant pressure, flow compensation and alternation in duplex pumps) and that it is suitable for all needs, from constant flow pumps to secondary variable flow.
"With Taco we have the advantage that the VFD can come mounted on the pump or to be installed on the wall. The display is the classic Danfoss display, which allows us to make it more accessible. The other brands use a complex and delicate one, as well as expensive and difficult to locate," said José Armando Razo Quevedo, commercial director of SBV Industriales, the brand's distribution company.
Taco's SKV Series self-sensing vertical in-line pumps with ProBalance are a breakthrough for variable speed pumping. By using ProBalance technology, the variable frequency drive's auto-sensing capabilities make balancing the system quick and accurate and easy to do yourself. The constant flow mode automatically balances and adjusts pump speed to maintain a user-defined flow set point.
In variable displacement mode, the pump adapts to system pressure variations and automatically follows the system's resistance curve to meet demand. These capabilities allow you to use these pumps for all your pumping needs, both constant flow chiller/boiler pumps and secondary variable displacement pumps. In all applications, they help reduce balancing contractor costs, eliminate costly wiring and the need for problematic external sensors. Parallel pumping operation is now available with Taco's modulator pump controller.
