Carrier introduces new financial model, Cooling As a Service

Carrier introduce su nuevo modelo financiero, Cooling As a Service

InternationalCarrier's new portfolio, Cooling As a Service (CAaS), replaces traditional heating and cooling models that require significant upfront spend with a subscription or service model.

According to the company, this alternative will help commercial customers simplify the operation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and other thermal or electricity generation systems.

Carrier Cooling As a Service allows customers to purchase long-term, predictable payment service, rather than incurring an upfront capital expense for the purchase of HVAC systems or equipment. According to the company, this new financial model allows customers to focus on their core business, while Carrier is responsible for providing them with environmental comfort and contributing to their operational efficiency.

With Carrier Cooling As a Service, customers can benefit from high-performance bundled solutions. Carrier's design, engineering, and project development teams are responsible for the project lifecycle, from system design to performance evaluations to ongoing operations and maintenance, including the achievement of key performance indicators.

"With contracts covering heating and cooling performance, as well as energy use, sustainability and infrastructure, customers can count on Carrier's expertise to provide optimized building system performance and support to meet their business needs."

Carrier Cooling As a Service will seek to ensure customers have modern and efficient Carrier equipment, including rooftop units, air handlers, controls and chillers.

"As a global leader in climate and energy solutions, Carrier can help building owners avoid upfront costs and the possibility of maintenance delays to allow customers to focus on their core business while Carrier provides reliable operation and peace of mind," said Rusert.
