Mexico. The opening of the facilities was thanks to the collaboration between the multinational Daikin and the Institute of Training for Work (ICAT) of Mexico.
In this way, the heating, ventilation and air conditioning company is preparing to recruit and train more than 2.000 new employees, thus contributing to economic growth and professional development in San Luis Potosí.
The relationship between Daikin and ICAT is part of a macro agreement established by the Japanese manufacturer and the State Government, considered a fundamental part of the company's growth strategy over the next two years.
The agreement focuses on providing top-notch training options in the industrial field, contributing to the promotion of local talent and strengthening San Luis Potosi's position as a key industrial center.
The inauguration ceremony of the Daikin Training and Recruitment Center was attended by Itagaki Katsumi, Consul General of Japan in Guanajuato; Andrés Benavides, CEO of Daikin Manufacturing Mexico; Hagiwara Shigeki, senior associate officer chairman of Daikin Latin America Operations and Graciela Zendejas, director of Human Resources at Daikin Manufacturing Mexico.
Meanwhile, the Government of the State of San Luis Potosí was represented by Juan Carlos Valladares, Secretary of Economic Development; Néstor Eduardo Garza, Secretary of Labor and Social Welfare and Rosa Estefanía Flores, Director General of ICAT.
