International. The Ibero-American Federation of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Associations (FAIAR) announced the creation of the so-called Women's Council.
The objective of this new instance is to encourage and give greater visibility to the performance and contributions of female human capital working in the industry.
For this reason, an online survey is currently being conducted, which aims to collect relevant information about women and their experiences in sectors such as refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation.
In this way, the Women's Council seeks to align itself with the global survey carried out by the International Refrigeration Institute (IIR) and the Ozone Action unit of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in cooperation with several partners.
"FAIAR and the member associations guarantee the confidentiality of the responses. Please share your experiences to inspire new generations of women to follow in your footsteps", said spokespersons for the union.
