Mexico. Around 600 visitors, including engineers, designers, contractors, technicians and customers from several Latin American countries, including Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela, received Emerson at its stand at the last AHR Expo Guadalajara, held last September.
Visitors were eager to learn about the different sustainable integral solutions, from CO2 compressors, A2L alternative refrigerants and electronic solutions for remote monitoring and energy saving of establishments.
"Emerson considers it very important to participate in these events, since we have the opportunity to present the innovations and technological advances that have been developed in recent years, all in one place, in addition to providing great potential to generate new business," said Martha Zepeda, Marketing Leader North Latin America – NOLA.
Martha added that "the fair exceeded our expectations. We had many visitors registered at the stand and presented our portfolio of sustainable technologies with lower environmental impact in addition to variable speed compressors, E3 controller optimized for monitoring refrigeration, air conditioning and lighting systems with custom programming for refrigeration systems operating with CO2, Copeland CO2 transcritical semi-hermetic compressor optimized to ensure greater energy and operational efficiency, among others."
For Víctor Galván, Applications Engineer at NOLA, it is important to remember that new technologies must focus on caring for the environment. "I had the opportunity to participate in the opening of presentations exposing the theme "Refrigeration Solutions with Low Environmental Impact, addressing the transition of natural refrigerants and A2L, and the new architectures for the design and manufacture of refrigeration systems. On the other hand, we explain how Emerson is constantly working on the development of compressors and system components that minimize the complexity of migrating to new refrigeration circuits; without ruling out energy savings and prioritizing greater operational efficiency."
Panorama 360 - Changes and solutions that impact the market
Among the company's actions, Emerson held Panorama 360, an event held on September 20 and 21. In its 4th virtual edition and 1st face-to-face edition, Panorama 360 brought the theme "Solutions with less environmental impact in commercial refrigeration and digital transformation IoT (Internet of Things)" and featured four guest speakers from Bohn, Chemours, Casa Ley and IDER, in addition to two round tables.
Among the relevant topics, A2L Refrigerants, Connectivity and Success Stories were addressed. Nearly 250 subscribers, including technicians, entrepreneurs, customers, manufacturers, distributors, students and other market professionals, participated in Panorama 360, both face-to-face and online, with simultaneous transmission, which will soon be available through Emerson's YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/c/EmersonCommercialandResidentialSolutions).
"Creating awareness and a better understanding of the changes in regulations that impact our market and presenting the solutions that allow the business to continue growing in times of change was the objective of the Panorama 360 we carried out. The results of our overall satisfaction survey were 4.8 out of 5 points. 84% of respondents responded that this event helped them to have a better understanding of the topics discussed," says Abigail Delgado, Educational Services Manager of LATAM.
Quality of the congress
Emerson also participated in the Congress on September 22 with a lecture by Misael González, Refrigeration Applications Engineer – Mexico, presenting the topic "Complete Commercial Refrigeration Guide to Address the Kigali Amendment in Latin America."
"We presented the topic 'Simplifying the reduction of emissions in commercial refrigeration systems', a study of total emissions carried out in several refrigeration solutions, considering different architectures and refrigerants, both natural and A2L, and with this data we were able to analyze what options that the HVAC-R industry has in the coming years", concludes González.
