International. Johnson Controls announced that it will launch new customized services that provide customized solutions to its customers around the world. These new service offerings will leverage its new OpenBlue technology to power remote and contactless services, in combination with its green building services.
The new suite of services, available from October 2020, integrates contactless technology, sophisticated ventilation and disinfection systems, as well as a flexible infrastructure in digital offerings. This allows a wide range of HVAC, fire protection and safety services to be monitored and managed remotely under normal, emergency and pandemic circumstances.
"There is no one-size-fits-all approach for all customers with the right solutions," said Ganesh Ramaswamy, vice president and president of Global Services and Transformation at Johnson Controls. "Comprehensive diagnostics and remote access services provide peace of mind and convenience to our customers in the rapidly changing business landscape."
The new suite of tailor-made services, powered by artificial intelligence
By providing more enhanced offerings, customers can select the service levels that best suit their needs from a comprehensive set of service solutions at four levels: Optimal, Expert, Enhanced, or Essential.
- Enhanced capabilities include:
Remote HVAC, Fire, and Safety Services: Ensure performance, uptime, and equipment management with real-time remote services. - 24/7 Real-Time Monitoring: Get access to active, real-time diagnostics, as well as a direct relationship with your remote advisory team.
- Predictive analytics: Data powers advanced benefits including improved power consumption, improved performance analytics, proactive planning processes, performance indexing, and upgrade roadmaps.
Service offerings are driven by OpenBlue digital technology: the key functionalities, which provide buildings with an environmental awareness that is sustainable, efficient and more accessible to all occupants, are:
- Contact capabilities: Manage and track employee and visitor access within a companion app to properly enforce social distancing policies and support contact tracing efforts.
- Contactless buildings: integrated access control, with facial recognition, through cameras and artificial intelligence technologies.
- Safe environments: Seamlessly mitigate the risk of infection and manage building control strategies with remote access to body temperature detection, ventilation and filtration systems, air cleaning and integrated occupancy cleaning.
- Flexible infrastructure: Enable discrete operating modes for an individual building during normal, emergency, and pandemic operations.
Additional details on OpenBlue's custom service offerings and integrations will be available in the coming months in all regions and countries.
