Flutec launched NViro-Pack, an air disinfection accessory that uses high-intensity ultraviolet lamps with a wavelength of 254 nanometers (nm). Due to its dimensions, it is designed to be placed in suspended ceilings of 2'x4'.
The device consists of UVC lamps that are completely enclosed within an exhibition chamber for use in a clean and dry environment. The air enters from one end and is forced by means of a micro turbine by the ultraviolet exposure chamber and returns to space to a diffuser hanging at the opposite end.
The goal of Nviro-Pack is to decrease the possibility of disease transmission between people by sterilizing the concentration of airborne pathogens. The ultraviolet light of this product is effective in deactivating microorganisms and the RNA of viruses eliminating their reproductive capacity.
NViro-Pak has four powerful UV lamps of 60watts each and circulates an air volume of 230 cubic feet per minute. Its lamps emit more than 1900 μW/cm² exposing the air passing through the disinfection chamber with a UVC radiation dose greater than 2100 μJ/cm².
