Samsung Mexico inaugurates first training center specialized in air conditioning systems

Samsung México inaugura primer centro de entrenamiento especializado en sistemas de aire acondicionado

Mexico. Samsung opened this space for customers, employees and business partners, aimed at training, service and support, while strengthening the knowledge of professionals in air conditioning systems and their service network.

Located in the municipality of Santa Catarina, the service center has an air conditioning systems training academy and dedicated platforms to learn and share how the SmartThings ecosystem works, through the connectivity of Samsung products.

During the opening event, Jay Kim, leader of the Consumer Electronics division in Mexico commented: "We are proud to announce the establishment of our Specialized Training Center for Air Conditioning Systems, which will serve as a hub to train partners and customers. It has state-of-the-art facilities and a robust training program designed to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. In addition, our expanded Service Center promises top-notch support throughout Mexico."

According to the manufacturer, the implementation of this infrastructure focuses mainly on:

  • Samsung certifications in critical processes for SAC (commercial) and RAC (residential) systems.
  • Ensure professional standards for the use of VRF system selection software at the commercial and advanced designer level.
  • Certify customers in the correct management of alternative refrigerants (R-32).
  • Develop online content to provide guides that customers can access at any time.
  • Expand knowledge of available control and automation solutions.
  • Offer training for other Samsung product divisions.

The new facilities also offer a service experience that includes the repair and installation of appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners; as well as screens, monitors and audio devices.   In addition, as part of the efforts to contribute to the environment, users are offered the Eco Recycle program, which consists of uninstalling the customer's current air conditioner and installing the new one totally free of charge. Samsung then responsibly recycles the old equipment. The steps to make use of this program are as follows:

  1. Purchase the product from authorized Samsung.com or dealers.
  2. The user will receive the product at home.
  3. You must call the service center and schedule an appointment.
  4. The service center will come to uninstall the current air conditioner, install the new one and take the old one.
  5. Samsung takes care of the recycling of the old product.*

To guarantee excellence in its operations, this Service Center has two specialized laboratories: one focused on household appliances and the other on screens. These spaces have specialized tools, stock of original spare parts; In addition, meticulous repair processes are followed to ensure the correct functioning and durability of the products.

Another function of this Service Center is warehousing, to ensure that products such as displays and appliances are efficiently available to meet the needs of customers and suppliers at all times. As a regional product warehouse, it allows the "last mile experience" to be improved, offering not only shipping, but also the installation of products in a single visit.

Samsung started the One Stop service as a pilot in Mexico City last year. With this service, customers can receive the products and installation service in a single visit according to the date they prefer. In 2024, customers in Mexico City enjoyed this service within four days from the date of purchase. Currently, Samsung offers this service in six districts of Mexico City and will now be expanded in Monterrey, starting with San Pedro Garza García.

Javier Moreno, Director of Air Conditioning Systems Business at Samsung Electronics Mexico, commented: "We want to bring people closer to all our innovative offer, offer them products that fit their lifestyle, but that are also responsible with the environment and help counteract the climatological changes that are happening on our planet. We also promote products such as our line of air conditioning systems, which include VRF and CAC, in order to provide cooling and heating to ensure ideal thermal comfort at any time of the year. Its Digital Inverter technology maximizes energy efficiency, benefiting users' pockets and reducing the impact on the environment."
