Dominican Republic. With the opening of its new headquarters located in the city of Bávaro, Italsan expands its presence in Latin America, where it already operates in Panama, Peru, Chile, Mexico and Costa Rica.
Headquartered in the Spanish city of Barcelona, Italsan specializes in the manufacture, distribution and after-sales service of thermoplastic piping systems. Now, the company seeks to consolidate its growth in the countries of the Latin American region, through initiatives such as the new facilities in the Dominican Republic, which include a warehouse and offices.
"This opening represents a significant investment in the region and aims to improve logistics and service to local customers. In addition, our expansion responds to the company's internationalization strategy, which seeks to offer a closer and more efficient service to its customers," the company said.
Likewise, spokespeople for the organization highlighted that since the creation of the Italsan Americas project in 2014, the company has worked to replicate its global business model in the region, focusing on technical service excellence, agile supply and high-quality after-sales service, aspects that they consider key in the demanding facilities market.
