Carrier Transicold confirms that it maintains its operations in Mexico

Mexico. Carrier Transicold announced that it maintains its operations to support its customers, recognizing the importance of the supply of medicines and food nationwide.

Given the contingency caused by COVID-19, specialists and authorities in the sector have stressed that the flows of agri-food products should not be affected, nor should the imports of goods and raw materials.

Given the current context that Mexico is going through, it is important that various sectors (agricultural producers, aquaculture, fishing, agriculture, as well as transport, warehouses and distribution centers, among others) act as soon as possible with the premise of being forewarned.

In this sense, Carrier ensures to establish high quality standards in its equipment, in this way it contributes to the products reaching their final destination in optimal conditions. The company will continue and reinforce the installation, maintenance and technical rescue service to its entire network of distributors in order to support the efficient transfer of products from the basic basket and drugs.

In recent days, the National Agricultural Council (CNA) presented a series of agreements reached between different productive sectors and links in the chain so as not to put the food supply at risk, in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. Some of them are listed below:

1. That the public bodies necessary for the optimal functioning of the productive chains do not stop working or providing the corresponding services, both for the distribution in the national market of agri-food products and inputs necessary for their production and processing, as well as the services necessary for the export and import of food and indispensable inputs.

2. Facilitate the mobilization of agri-food products from production areas to consumption areas.

3. Reinforce the issue of security mainly in transportation, distribution, in warehouses and food distribution centers, due to the increase in the number of thefts that has occurred in recent dates.

Thanks to its technologies, Carrier Transicold takes care of the conditions in which food is transported with precise temperature control, preserving all types of perishable cargo no matter where its destination is located.

Also, some equipment of the brand has an advanced system of monitoring and control of the units that allow customers to continuously monitor their fleet.
