International. Bacharach has been selected as a finalist in the two categories: "Innovation of the Year in Refrigeration, Monitoring and Controls" and "Project/Innovation in Cold Chain", in the RAC Cooling Industry Awards 2019, for the Parasense Refrigerant Management software.
The RAC Cooling Industry Awards will be held on Wednesday 25 September at the London Hilton on Park Lane during a gala evening. The event brings together more than 500 refrigeration and air conditioning professionals from around the world.
Adam Marsh, Product Manager of Bacharach's Parasense platform, said: "We are absolutely delighted to have been selected as finalists for RAC's coveted Cooling Industry Awards. The ability to integrate the Parasense platform with Bacharach refrigerant leak detectors provides users with live data notifications of any leakage events. This allows them to reduce refrigerant emissions with responses as quickly as possible. This ensures that equipment processes remain operational and products within the temperature specification. It is a true honor and privilege to have been nominated. It's a great tribute to the hard work and dedication of the teams at Bacharach and Parasense."
The UK government recently committed to net carbon emissions by 2050 to reduce refrigerants with high ozone warming potential and high global warming. The #1 best-selling environmental book of 2017, "Project Drawdown," ranks refrigerant management as the primary way to reduce human influence on climate change.
The Refrigeration Innovation of the Year category highlights the real advantages of Parasense Refrigerant Management software by providing an innovative solution for refrigerant tracking and compliance. In addition, with integrated detection and notification of refrigerant leaks, Parasense Refrigerant Management software can help reduce refrigerant emissions across organizations and businesses, protecting the climate, personnel, and equipment itself.
The cold chain innovation category for the RAC Industry Cooling awards is an area of focus and real importance for the refrigeration industry. Nominations were sought in the broad field of cold chain technology, either by mobile refrigeration or cold storage, either for one element or for the cold chain as a whole.
