Mexico. Within the framework of World Refrigeration Day (June 26), the Council on Technical Excellence (CET), with the support of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Competence Management Committee, held the event "Promoting the competitiveness of the refrigeration and air conditioning industry", during which an important agreement was signed to strengthen the production chain.
The signing of the agreement of the Management Committee for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Competencies (CGCRC) brought together several associations of the sector, such as ANDIRA, ASHRAE, IMEI, ANFIR, ANFAD, AMERIC and SUME, which signed a document with the aim of strengthening best practices, which will lead to better processes and also favor the environment.
This agreement is part of a joint effort of all associations in the face of the need to enhance the skills of refrigeration and air conditioning technicians as a trigger to have a safer sector, which takes care of technology to ensure product guarantees and, no less important, the technical procedures in the handling, installation and operation of the equipment in favor of the planet are inscribed.
In addition to the CET and signatory associations, associations from the sector, government, educational institutions and companies also participated in this meeting.
The Council on Technical Excellence (CET) is an educational body that evaluates and certifies work skills in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry and promotes good practices in favor of this sector.
