Colombia. On December 5, Trane (Ingersoll Rand) presented an award to Eng. Camilo Botero, consultant and columnist of this publication, for the design and engineering of the first Cooling District with ice storage made in the country.
This project was carried out at the Javeriana University in the city of Cali.
In ACR Latin America we take this opportunity to congratulate Eng. Camilo Botero not only for this recognition, but also because he told us that he is reaching his first 50 years as a Mechanical Engineer. The HVAC industry owes much to this talented and renowned Engineer, for his tireless work and for the valuable contribution he has made to engineering and education throughout his successful career.
