Brazil. Beer producer Ralf Beer sought to invest in the automation of its manufacture and in total temperature control to ensure the excellence of its production of pure malt lager beer, in an artisanal way.
The gaucho brewery, which has been operating in the market since 2002, had Sitrad, supervision software developed by Full Gauge Controls, to obtain the technology it needed for this process.
For Ralf Beer, remote monitoring is another way to oversee the crafting of what will reach its customers' glasses. For the commercial manager of the brand, Steven Winter, being able to have access to information about the performance of each tank, both at the top and bottom of the equipment, is something of extreme importance.
In this way, the company's brewer, who is the one who verifies the data collected by the Sitrad constantly, can adjust the parameters remotely with security, whenever necessary. There are 32 MT-543Ri Plus controllers (two in each tank), connected to the system, among other products of the brand that are used.
The system, which can be downloaded for free (www.sitrad.com.br) and has no cost of use, allows you to store the data and generate custom reports and graphs, among other functionalities. In addition, whenever a parameter is outside what was previously established, the tool sends a warning, which in this case the technical area receives by e-mail. "Once, our team was not realizing to cool everything chopp and we received the alarm in time to reverse the situation, without causing damage to our product," he says. According to Winter, when something like this happens, it is usually during the weekends, so the software alerts become even more important, because they allow the chopp to leave the factory always with the same quality and flavor characteristic of the brand.
