International. Emerson announced the launch of a supervisory control system for large facilities to give customers more control over the operating capabilities of their facilities.
Emerson's supervisory controls enable simple visibility and control of refrigeration, HVAC, lighting and more to offer customers greater operational efficiency, better cost savings, and better connectivity.
Optimized for Emerson's ProAct business management software and ProAct Alerts mobile app, these monitoring controls collect and analyze data, which is processed in the cloud through ProAct software, advanced applications and services in insights into current conditions, trend development, performance history and operational metrics. This real-time data can be used to help facility and business managers respond not only quickly to issues, but also be more proactive in preventing issues that could impact customer experiences, food quality, or operating costs.
"Our oversight controls are designed to provide fast and useful information, and for our customers, but we really wanted to make sure this new system was simple and powerful," said Reggie O'Donoghue, director of electronics product management. "These products are optimized for desktop or mobile devices, which means our customers can control their store management systems from virtually anywhere with an internet or cellular connection. We also designed the flexibility to allow users to choose to see the information most relevant to them."
