Colombia. In Medellín, the Colombian Association of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (Acaire) will hold on Thursday, November 26, the Course "Failures in compressors and root cause analysis (Semihermetic and scroll)".
The course will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The course content includes the following topics:
• Basic concepts of variables that affect compressor performance and service life
• Reciprocating compressors & Scroll operating characteristics
• Mechanical failures of compressors
• Electrical failures of compressors
• Good practices in commissioning and operation of HVAC systems
• What to do and what not to do in Refrigeration
The speaker in charge of the presentation of the course will be the Engineer Giovanni Barletta, Mechanical Engineer Universidad del Norte, specialist in Management of Commercial Companies, with more than 25 years of experience in the air conditioning and refrigeration sector. Currently Regional Technical Manager of Copeland (Emerson Climate Technologies) for the Andean, Caribbean and Central America area.
