Uruguay. On August 15 and 16, 2013, the first International Fair of the Air Conditioning, Heating, Ventilation and Refrigeration sector was held at the Latu Technology Park in Montevideo, which was accompanied by important academic talks.
About 40 companies, from Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Spain and the USA, showed the latest advances and the latest technologies in the sector, before about 1,500 professionals, including architects, engineers, technicians, mechanics from different sectors.
Among the most outstanding conferences were those given by Schellemberg Ingenieria/Trox, by Celso Simoes Alexandre; Improtel, with the theme Efficient cooling of a Datacenter, by José María de la Fuente; Brocom, with Use of Ecological Gases in Refrigeration, presented by Eng. Daniel Malnero (Arkema); Diego Paiva, from Full Gauge Controls, spoke about Financial Analysis in Refrigeration Projects; Emerson Climate Technologies, with Edgardo Kelen spoke about new products and technologies with a view to sustainability in HVAC/R facilities, among others.
Within the Fair, different sectors of the industry intervened, such as: Industrial Refrigeration and Cold, Air Conditioning, Heating and Domestic Hot Water, Ventilation, Automation, Air Quality: Clean Rooms and Areas, Management and Technical Services, Insulation, Refrigerants, Regulation and Control Elements, Tools, Tools and Accessories for installations, Solar equipment.
