United States. The North American certifying body in HVAC systems, Nate (North American Technician Excellence), celebrates its 15th anniversary these days, offering some discounts on merchandise as a commemoration of its birth in 1997.
Nate reported that the number of certified technicians is on the rise. Currently, nearly 30,000 technicians have carried out their certification activities; 20% of these technicians have held multiple certifications.
"Over the past 15 years, Nate has been committed to elevating the industry towards excellence in technical certification. This is the certification body developed and supported by the entire HVACR industry, and our efforts will ensure continued quality in service and facilities," said Don Frendberg, Chairman of Nate's Board of Directors.
