United States. Bosch Energy Research Network awarded seven grants to researchers at five major universities in the nation in order to conduct advanced studies and sustainable use of energy.
The Bosch subsidiary awarded a first round of grants worth about US$1 million and also provided funds for more than 40 internships, with the purpose of continuing to work on the development of energy-efficient technologies.
Celebrating its 125th anniversary, Bosch announced last May that it will invest about $10 million over the next eight years to support educational institutions and research related to the energy sector in the U.S.
