A mass consumption warehouse that will have an area of 20,000 m2 will be located in Callao, Peru; In addition, it is planned to build two refrigerators that would possibly be installed in the cities of Arequipa, Chiclayo or Piura, according to the general manager of the organization, Emilio Fantozzi.
Recently the same company opened several cold stores, one in Trujillo and one more in Callao for a cost of US $ 10 million.
This company, belonging to the Romero Group, has been expanding its presence throughout the Latin American region. In Quito, Ecuador, this year it launched a storage plant for mass consumption products.
Likewise, Fantozzi confirmed that detailed engineering is currently being carried out and the corresponding permits are being managed for the construction of a distribution warehouse in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and the feasibility of installing another in Guayaquil, Ecuador, is being analyzed. Where, according to the manager "we already have a plot of 50,000m2".
In addition, Ransa expanded its services in El Salvador by inaugurating its first Ransa Cold Distribution Center in that country, which cost more than US$3 million, with which it ventures into the refrigerated logistics segment in El Salvador.
