Philips will shine with its own light at TecnoEdificios 2011

Iluminación en centros comercialesPhilips in addition to its participation in the academic program, will also be part of the commercial exhibition of TecnoEdificios 2011, a congress on technologies for the modernization of buildings that will be held on November 9 and 10 in Medellín, Colombia.

 

The company recognizes the importance of participating in a meeting where specialists in the different technological areas meet with knowledge and experience to do business, since the experience of 2010 was positive: "The quality of the attendees was very good and after the event very interesting businesses were closed for the company," said Margarita Caro, LED Lamps & Systems Product Chief for Northern Latin America at Philips.

Regarding the expectations for 2011, the executive commented that, "there we find together people interested in looking for new solutions and together we can improve the conditions of end users with state-of-the-art technology. Both as exhibitors and speakers we are interested in trendsetters knowing the latest advances for this type of buildings, which are based on totally dynamic technologies, and thus be able to give them the necessary tools to go to market and advise with the latest existing solutions". The company specialized in lighting hopes to take advantage of all the advantages of participating in TecnoEdificios 2011. "Our expectation in this event is to have a good participation in the business roundtables and to make known to interested people the existing technologies in the market of the sustainable solution," said Margarita. Philips will also offer all attendees of the academic program the conference "Trends and solutions in sustainable lighting".
