The new ultrasonic flow sensors with an automatic glycol compensation algorithm, select the correct properties of the fluid for the calculation of flow and energy, eliminating the manual input of the glycol percentage for the sensor configuration.
The algorithm can be applied to a range of heat transfer fluids, ensuring accurate and repeatable measurements, while the automatic glycol concentration minimizes deviation and offers reliable flow measurement, continuously compensating for glycol concentration in a hydronic system.
The sensors have a rugged design with no moving parts, require no calibration, and offer accurate, repeatable measurements that improve the control and efficiency of HVAC systems. All flow sensors are wet calibrated to simulate field operation and are available with NIST traceable calibration certification.
In addition, the reading accuracy of ± 2% and the repeatability of ± 0.5% ensure accurate flow measurement, coupled with a low power consumption of 0.5W.
