The new high-efficiency Type N double-glazed bifacial modules use i-TOPCon cells and are already in mass production. These modules offer improved front-side power output with a 144-cell module, reaching 425 Wp and efficiency of up to 20.7%.
The i-TOPCon cells have more than 80% bifaciality and multi busbar (MBB), double-glazed, monocrystalline, double-sided and half-cut plates, as well as a lower temperature coefficient and low degradation with low lighting, improving the real output power. They also provide additional power generation of 5% to 30% on the back.
The i-TOPCon cell has a front boron emitter and a complete rear passivated contact area.
