The new LS series of dry screw pumps is a high-performance, more compact and low-power solution in a low-cost package, compared to multi-stage dry root pumps, for a wide range of vacuum applications.
This line offers four pumping speeds of 120 to 1,000 cubic meters per hour, features a pair of machined, variable-pitch conical-shaped steel screws that allow the pump to be 1/3 shorter in length and 1/3 lighter than other screw pumps in the same pumping speed class.
This advanced screw design also increases pumping speed by approaching atmospheric pressure, allowing the LS pump to offer 20% lower pump downtime and consume less energy. In addition, its energy consumption does not exceed 0.6 kW when reaching the maximum pressure. A specialized built-in muffler reduces the noise level to no more than 61 dB.
