Regal's Star DEC system combines the patented Genteq HEB fan technology and the axial flow of Genteq motors to markedly improve the efficiency of HVAC system accessories, reducing their input power from 15 to 35 percent of the standard of blowers with traditional ECM motors.
The DEC (Dual Efficiency Configuration) removes the motor from the blower inlet and removes the restriction to improve the efficiency system of furnaces, fan coil units, packed units and heat pumps.
Previously available in a 10-inch wheel diameter, Regal now features a 9-inch wheel system, weighing less than 10 pounds.
Its design ensures uniform airflow to increase heat transfer and reduce hot spots and pressure on accessories.
