Spectroline's® AR-GLO/E universal dye can be used in any cooling or air conditioning system, regardless of the type of coolant or lubricant found in the system. AR-GLO/E contains no co-solvents and has no adverse effect on the viscosity or lubricity of the system oil, and will not corrode hoses, seals or other components.The AR-GLO/E is added to the system by circulating with the coolant and oil. If there are leaks, the oil and dye mixture will escape with the coolant. Although it evaporates, it leaves a trace of the dye. When the system is scanned with a high-intensity UV or ultraviolet lamp, the residual dye will glow fluorescent in green-yellow form, thus revealing the precise location of any leaks.
