Emerson Climate Technologies, has launched three other digital scroll compressors (10, 13 and 15 hp) within the "Summit" K5E series, which expands the existing digital range to 15 hp. With continuous capacity modulation from 10% to 100%, the medium temperature range now offers a cooling capacity of up to 26 kW, while the low temperature range with steam injection technology offers a cooling capacity of up to 12.5 kW.
These compressors fit especially well in multi-evaporator applications or in applications that need a wide range of capacity modulation, such as various cold rooms in hospitality, condensing units and small supermarket compressor plants, as well as precision cooling or light industrial systems.
In addition, the new "Summit" K5E digital series includes low-noise operation for noise-constrained applications and offers the liquid and vapor injection capability for the ZFD41K5E low-temperature model.
The models are approved and suitable for standard refrigerants R404A, R407A/F and R134a, as well as low GWP alternatives such as R448A and R449A. All compressors in the ZBD and ZFD ranges have the same plant, making it easy to integrate into different refrigeration systems.
