Camfil
Camfil dust collectors now feature integrated safety monitoring filters (iSMF) to isolate toxic particles, preventing the discharge of any measurable weight of emissions and are available with HEPA or ASHRAE certification.
These iSMF units are factory installed on Camfil APC's Farr Gold Series dust collector, minimizing the total footprint, as no additional ducts, transitions or supports are required. Dangerous particles are contained because the unit allows the filters to be located before the fan, keeping them under negative pressure.
They also prevent collected dust from re-entering the work area if there is a leak in the primary filters and stop flames that occur from combustible dust incidents, protecting the equipment located at the bottom.
This equipment is monitored for changes in differential pressure and can be programmed to generate alarms or turn off the dust collector.
HEPA grade filters achieve a PDO efficiency of 99.97% in 0.3 micron particles. Riga-Flo ASHRAE grade filters achieve 95% efficiency and are rated at 2650 cfm (4248 cmh) per filter.
