Friedrich's PTAC FreshAire is a pioneer of its kind by combining an energy-efficient inverter compressor and a MERV 8 filter to take air from outside and filter it by reducing harmful particles, allergens and other impurities, while complying with ASHRAE 62.1-2013 standards.
This equipment is easy to install and maintain, cost-effective and simple to operate, it is the first of its kind to incorporate inverter compressor technology with variable speed, to produce only the amount of cooling or heating needed, saving energy, with low noise levels and keeping the temperature stable.
Among other benefits of the equipment, there is an optional advanced dehumidification system, compared to other PTACs of a speed. The brand's VRP system takes the energy that is wasted in a normal air conditioning cycle and uses it to reheat the return air, lengthening the dehumidification time.
