The Ministry of Universities, Business and Research has facilitated the creation of seven companies specialized in renewable energies and energy management, thanks to one of the training activities framed in the Comprehensive Program of Energy Saving and Efficiency of the Region of Murcia, as reported by sources of the regional government in a statement.
Specifically, the business projects arising from the 'I Course on Energy Business Management' deal with the optimization of energy resources of buildings and companies, rental of electric vehicles, promotion of photovoltaic solar installations on the roof and obtaining biogas from livestock waste.
Thus, the general director of Industry, Energy and Mines, José Francisco Puche, has indicated that "all these business proposals have exceeded the technical requirements and meet the business objectives of viability. We hope that all of them will be a success, as they are aimed at niche markets with important business opportunities and expansion."
And, during the 'I Course of Management of Energy Companies', organized by the Regional Agency for Energy Management of Murcia (Argem) in collaboration with the Education and Development Foundation, 35 technicians received specialized training in energy and business management, with the aim of developing their own projects.
On the other hand, the Comprehensive Energy Saving and Efficiency Program of the Region of Murcia, prepared by the Ministry through the General Directorate of Industry, Energy and Mines, establishes the roadmap to achieve that by the end of 2016 in the Region greenhouse gas emissions have been reduced by 20 percent, that 20 per cent of the energy consumed comes from renewable sources and that it improves energy efficiency by another 20 per cent.
In addition to the objective '20-20-20', the Comprehensive Plan puts the tools to increase business competitiveness, equity and quality of energy supply, the protection of natural and cultural heritage, the commitment to sustainability and energy as an economic dynamizer, "requirements that meet all the business projects arising from this course", concludes Puche.
