The headquarters of the Technological Institute of the Canary Islands (ITC), in Pozo Izquierdo, on the island of Gran Canaria, will host from this Wednesday until Friday, June 17, the seminar 'Integration of Renewable Energies in the energy planning of the States of West Africa'.
This seminar will bring together several ministers and senior officials from the 15 states that make up the ECOWAS region, who will be welcomed by the director of the Canarian Agency for Research, Innovation and the Information Society (ACIISI) of the acting Government of the Canary Islands, Juan Ruiz Alzola.
In this way, and as reported by the regional executive in a press release, it is intended to share the experience developed over the years in the Canary Islands in terms of the development and incorporation of renewable energies in weak electricity networks, with the countries that make up the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
