Ana García, Chef by profession and Robb Anderson, opened a small ecological hotel using the concrete tubes intended for deep drainage systems as rooms, creating a form of fun, economical accommodation and the most important respectable with the environment, making their hotel called TuboHotel perfect for ecological tourism.
TuboHotel, located in Tepoztlan Morelos, one of the magical towns of Mexico, is formed by 20 rooms-tubes of 2.1m in diameter and 3 m long, only have a double bed, a fan and a lamp. Bathrooms and showers are shared and are located a few meters from the rooms.
The hotel is designed for people who travel with a backpack on their back and are looking for a comfortable, clean, economical and ecological place, during the week the rate is 400 pesos per room and on weekends 500 pesos. Among the couple's plans is to be able to replicate their idea in other states of the country and thus remind all people that we can lead a more ecological life.
