The Minister of Industry, Energy and Environment, José Luis Navarro, will inaugurate this Monday, at 12.00 pm, a photovoltaic solar plant of 10 MW of power in Malpartida de Cáceres, which during its first year of life will generate energy to supply almost 8,750 homes.
The works of this photovoltaic plant, created by Viproes Energías Renovables, began at the beginning of last year 2010 and is located on a plot of municipal property. The park is distributed in 20 photovoltaic generators of 500Kw of nominal power in inverters and 591,360Wp in panels.
The support structure of the photovoltaic panels is fixed with an inclination of 30º on the horizontal. The joint evacuation of the energy produced by the Solar Park is carried out in medium voltage (20Kv) through underground lines that run through the Transformation Centers of the 20 generating facilities.
This generated energy is conducted to the transformer substation called 'Malpartida 20/45kV Substation', located next to the site of the solar park, to later be transported by air, at the voltage level of 45kV until its connection to the transmission network of the supply company at the assigned connection point.
The park has been equipped with modern monitoring and security systems to allow its operation in an "efficient" way. Likewise, the environmental actions included in the Environmental Impact Statement issued by the Junta de Extremadura have been carried out, highlights the City Council of Malpartida de Cáceres in a press release.
The energy generated by the solar park during the first year of life is enough to supply almost 8,750 Spanish households, under the assumption that the average energy consumption of a home is estimated at 2,100kwh / year. The commissioning of this facility will avoid the emission of 19,336.41 tons of CO2 per year, adds the consistory. (EUROPA PRESS)
