Halloween is approaching and surely you still do not know what to dress up. Here's an option to make a Bat Costume for Halloween made with recycled materials.
Materials
1 umbrella that no longer works
Black thread and needle
1 black hoodie or sweatshirt with long sleeves, preferably with front closure
Black pants or skirt
20 centimeters of flexible but resistant wire
How to make a bat costume with a recycled umbrella
Remove the stick from the umbrella leaving only the fabric with the frame, cut it in half leaving 4 rays on each side, from each half cut a section (a quarter, with a ray), this will serve to make the ears.
With the two large halves, cut the loose part of the rays that is the one that was attached to the center of the umbrella, discard them, then join the rays that were left in the fabric by the tips with a wire, as shown in the photos.
Sew the part attached by the wire to the wrists of the sweater and one of the tips to the armpit of the sweater. With the triangles left, cut the rays in half and sew your ears to the hood of the sweater, and you're ready to have a recycled bat costume for this Halloween.
