Nokia has just revealed a very good way to charge your cell phone without connecting to electricity, a bicycle charger kit. So that all cyclists never have to reconnect the phone on a wall again.
The bike charger kit is mounted on your bike's handlebars and includes a stand for your cell phone. The charger plugs into the phone and then your pedaling gets the job done. The faster you pedal, the faster the phone will charge. Just below 4 kilometers per hour, charging starts and if it is possible to raise the speed to 8 miles per hour, the phone charges as fast as if it were plugged into a power outlet.
This game is only for Nokia phones, but I wouldn't be surprised if other companies adopt the technology soon as well.
So, whether you're looking for one more reason to hop on a bike or just looking for a solution that's off the grid, this gadget is for you.
